Precision, Force, and Dynamics: Powerful Linear Actuators for Alignment and Adjustment

Travel ranges between 10 and 77 mm and a feed force up to 125 N enable the high-resolution linear actuators to cover a wide spectrum of applications. Their compact shape simplifies their integration into existing systems, while their high accuracy and low backlash enable precise control.
Depending on the model, the drives are fitted with DC or stepper motors and reach velocities up to 1.2 mm/s with a minimum incremental motion (MIM) up to 0.05 µm. The non-rotating, linearly guided tip avoids transmitting deviations from concentricity and tilting errors to the respective application. The passive holding force enables positions to be kept stable without active control.
The drives developed for continuous operation offer a mean time between failures (MTBF) of up to 20,000 hours and are designed for high frequency load changes. Vacuum-compatible variants are available for demanding environments. The models M-230, M-235, and L-220 are in operation around the world—in semiconductor production, in the optical industry, or in research. As external drive elements, they facilitate precise linear, tilting, or rotational movements in guided systems. Timely delivery of the linear actuators with exceptionally short lead times enables businesses to respond flexibly to customer requirements, strengthen their market position, and successfully remain competitive.
