PI’s hexapods not only provide ultra-precise motion and alignment across six degrees of freedom (X, Y, Z, ΘX, ΘY, ΘZ), but are also known for their high precision, stability, and compactness. Six actuators directly move a single platform, ensuring high stiffness and dynamic performance. The center of rotation (pivot point) and the orientation of the reference coordinate system can be defined quickly and easily using software commands.
The free software package offers work and tool coordinate systems and an emulation tool to protect critical components. Additionally, the PIVirtualMove software models the travel range, alignment, forces, and torques of the H-811.I2, taking into account the center of rotation and the load’s center of gravity.
