Manufacturing at all our sites is continuing as normal and PI UK remains fully operational. Our global purchasing team is working hard to ensure on time delivery of component parts from within our supply chain. All the company's manufacturing facilities remain fully operational and we continue to see minimal impact on our supply chain.  This includes our ACS facility in Israel.  And with restrictions soon to be relaxed in Germany we currently see no sign of this situation changing.

The measures taken by the company are allowing all our manufacturing operations to remain open. We are also working at full strength across our sales, applications and support teams. Our flexibility is enabling the company to shift resources in order to properly support this demand. We are also opening up the skills, knowledge and capability of the company in order to help and support our customer base where this is needed.

There is an urgent need to inspire a younger generation to make a career choice that takes them into the high technology sector. I was therefore really excited to be able to go into a high school in Luton recently to talk to 120 GCSE students who were interested in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

At PI we recognise that moving to a new controller platform involves risk and a considerable investment in time for our customers. To support this activity we are able to provide a range of software and hardware tools for technology familiarisation as well as knowledgeable personnel who can provide training and support as and when needed.
